The Argonaut Rowing Club

Wow, simply blown away, from the first conversation that I had with Fia @ Kiss the Cook Catering, I knew this was going to be exactly what I was looking for in a caterer for a very special event.

On Saturday, October 21st, at the Henley Room in the Toronto Argonaut Rowing Club, Kiss the Cook Catering served a sensational Italian Dinner to 107 of my guests attending my sister’s memorial.

What a treat, homemade meatballs, just like my Nona used to make, mouthwatering cannelloni with spinach and ricotta, fresh crisp salads, amazing anti pasta, but the icing on the cake was the spaghetti carbonara that was served by a chef from a Parmigiano wheel, The food, the service, the value, and what a great company to work with, what a pleasure, top notch, thank you Fia, Ann and all the Kiss the Cook Team, it could not have been better.

Kiss the Cook catered my wedding this past weekend at the Henley Room. I do not have a SINGLE regret about choosing them! I had to do most of my arrangements via email and a few phone calls because I live out of town. Shellie was an absolute dream to work with – funny, gracious, and patient through the entire year or so we spent in touch about the wedding. The options for the menu are so numerous I could barely decide what we wanted. The food itself was STUPENDOUS. I’m Italian and was very concerned about the porchetta, and it was a huge hit with my whole family (including me – and I don’t usually eat porchetta!) They were also phenomenal at accommodating all of the special meals we needed for guests who were vegan, vegetarian, celiac, lactose intolerant, and unable to eat pork for religious reasons. The staff were so kind and hilarious, my guests constantly commented about how fun they were. They did an amazing job folding my napkins so nicely even as I struggled to do it myself! They were a huge part of what made my wedding day so perfect. I love you guys, I seriously do!!!! My heart is so full of thanks to you, Kiss the Cook!
